Kawasaki is delivering the next generation of cars to Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) riders.

Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corp (PATH) PA-5

Kawasaki has delivered 350 PA-5 cars replacing PATH’s entire fleet.

New York City Transit Authority R188

Kawasaki will deliver over five hundred R188 cars to NYCTA.

New York City Transit Authority R160B

In 2002, MTA New York City Transit (NYCT) awarded the largest passenger rail transit contract in the U.S. for the supply of up to 1,700 R160 subway cars.

New York City Transit Authority R142A

Kawasaki delivered 520 R142A cars to NYCTA. Kawasaki's R142A subway cars are some of the most technologically advanced cars in the New York City Transit System.

Rapid Transit 

PATH PA-4

The car body is made of stainless steel, which provides for a strong, light-weight structure.

New York City Transit Authority R143

There are 212 R143 cars for use in the NYCTA B Division. These standard-setting cars expand upon the advanced technological base established during the previous R142A program.

Department of Rapid Transit System C301

Kawasaki manufactured and exported 132 cars from our manufacturing plant in Yonkers, New York to The Department of Rapid Transit System, Taipei, ROC

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority B-IV

Kawasaki delivered 125 fourth generation Broad Street Line cars between 1981 and 1983.
