Administrative Assistant Purchasing (Job No. OF-007)
• Assists Purchasing Management with documentation control, parts ordering and payment control according to established procedures.
• Performs data entry and database maintenance.
• Organizes and maintains tracking of order requests.
• Sets up and maintains charts and spreadsheets in Windows applications.
• Interfaces with vendors and material control personnel to verify purchasing information.
• Prepares authorization sheets. Maintains payment control sheets and related documentation.
• Drafts and types correspondence from instructions. Maintains Purchasing files and organizes documentation.
• Distributes and files memoranda, faxes, and mail.
• Communicates with various departments at KHI.
• Greets and provides hospitality to visitors and guests.
•Must have experience and high degree of competence with Window’s applications. (Spread sheets and word-processing).
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Note: This position requires a direct exposure to shop floor environment.
